This stunning 16th century palace has been meticulously restored and preserved, allowing couples and their guests to be fully immersed in the splendor and elegance of a bygone era.

The sheer grandeur of the Piano Nobile, or main floor, is simply jaw-dropping. The immense Salone Nobile hall soars with an incredible frescoed ceiling depicting scenes from Roman mythology. Adjoining rooms like the Room of Fame and Fortune are adorned with exquisite stucco detailing and paintings. For weddings, this entire area provides a spectacular setting for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions of any size up to 500 guests.

While the upstairs rooms are unquestionably magnificent, the ground floor spaces of Palazzo Albergati are equally captivating with their rustic charm. Isolani

Rocca Isolani

Capacity: Up to 300 seated guests

As one of the oldest castles in the region dating back to 1300, Rocca Isolani is a true fairytale come to life. This medieval fortress has been impeccably restored as a luxury events destination, while still retaining all its authentic charm and architectural integrity.

The showstopping feature is definitely the immense 450 square meter Renaissance courtyard. Surrounded by crenellated walls and arched loggias, it creates an extraordinary open-air venue for ceremonies and receptions under the stars. Caterers can set up long imperial tables or install chic lounge vignettes among the ancient stonework.

Indoors, the historic frescoes, vaulted brick ceilings, and antique detailing transport you to another era of elegance and romance. I especially love the grand staircase entry and rooftop terraces that provide sweeping views of the Bolognese countryside for portraits. With a capacity of 300 guests, Rocca Isolani strikes the perfect balance between intimacy and grandeur.

Villa Isolani

Capacity: Up to 500 guests indoors

Just a short distance away, Villa Isolani offers a different but equally impressive historic venue for events. This magnificent 19th century neoclassical villa is set among 7.5 hectares of romantic English gardens.

The villa’s interior highlight is definitely the series of six spectacular Pompeian-style frescoed reception rooms, dripping in period details and regal sophistication. Couples can host an entire wedding journey here – from getting ready in the luxurious bridal suites to the ceremony, lavish reception, and after-party that carries on until dawn.
